YOUR HOMETOWN POOL BUILDER

Pool Stop Custom Pools is a swimming pool contractor in Rockwall. NOAA normals for 1991 to 2020 put the town's yearly precipitation at 37.5 inches, with 0.2 inches of snow.

The company says it builds custom pools and also runs a store for supplies, plus spas, hot tubs and water fountains. Its website names leak detection, weekly cleaning, and heater and pump service among its upkeep work. It builds commercial pools too.

If you're planning a new pool, the company says most builds wrap up 8 to 12 weeks from excavation day. It adds that rain and other rough weather can stretch that out, and so can extras like spas or fire pits. So count back from the day you want to be in the water.

The store runs 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday, with a shorter noon to 4 pm stretch on Sunday. Its website lists trimmed store hours from October through February, with Wednesdays closed in those months, so a quick check before a winter drive is smart.

Pool Stop holds a 4.3 rating from 260 reviews. Reviewers mention the store staff most, crediting them with sorting out water problems and explaining equipment options. Pump repairs and a service crew that answers questions honestly come up often too.

Your best bet is a weekday morning right after the 9 am opening, when there's a full day ahead to talk through a project.

One-stop shop for custom-built pools, supplies & services, plus hot tubs, spas & water fountains.
